Christmas spirit is definitely in the air at APS. Ho! Ho! Ho!

In November, APS proudly celebrated the men in our company as it is the month that traditionally focuses on men’s health. With more than three quarters of our workforce made up of men across Sales, Accounts, Design, Technical, Despatch, and Transport, it was a meaningful opportunity to recognise their contributions and well-being. We marked International Men’s Day on Wednesday, 19th, to show appreciation of the impact these men make in our company. To round off a month of fundraising led by a few of our male colleagues growing their moustaches, we hosted a lively coffee morning to support their efforts to raise donations for Brookfield School in our area that provides exceptional support for children with special needs.

In November 2025 some of our warehouse staff grew their moustaches to fund-raise cash for the amazing Brookfield Special Primary School, Moira. We dug deep everyone and the month ended with a great coffee morning.  We expected classic handlebars and refined walrus styles among others but it didn’t exactly get to that stage. Over £500 was raised and matched by the company totalling £1000. Well done to the warehouse team – what a great initiative to organise.

Well done SDS Design Engineers and Lidl Ireland on the opening of Lidl Maynooth. APS are pleased to supply sustainable aluminium architectural glazing systems by our trusted fabricator partner to this first net zero supermarket in Ireland. The curtain walling along face of building looks stunning in this photo.

APS Sponsoring Grassroots Football at Derriaghy CC FC Academy. We wish our staff member Jordan & Colin best wishes for their teams’ success as they coach the 2016s this season.  Great to see the youngsters in the local area taking part in sport and developing their teamwork skills while having lots of fun.  Lovely to see the APS logo displayed on their match shirts

In October we had a visit from APS sponsor recipient, Ethan Faulkner, who took some time off from his travels in the British Sprint Championship. Young Ethan had his race car into one of our warehouses for a photo shoot for a motor sport magazine.  Seen here with our staff, Sheena Archer and his dad Kenny Faulkner. Congratulations on all your wins in 2025 and best of luck with the plans for 2026 and your new racing car!

APS wish Harry Corry home furnishings, the second retailer to move into Enniskillen Lakeland’s Retail & Leisure Park, the best of luck for their grand opening.

The first tenant Home Bargains opened in early July. APS were pleased to supply the curtain walling, window and door systems to the glazing contractor on this large project. Looking forward to seeing more photos as more units fill up. Well done to all involved.

Nothing says Pay Day like the APS Pay Day breakfast. Our Payday Breakfasts are guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face. Bacon or sausage butties or choose the healthy option porridge and fruit. The staff really appreciate this treat that coincides with receiving pay every month. Thanks to Jonny, Brian, Michelle, Victoria and Kate for posing for photo.

It’s great to hear from Oliver Lamont who has received sponsorship from APS for his racing.

At the start of the summer he collected 4 trophies at the Autotest Drivers Club Dinner – two for 1st in Class and two for 2nd in Class from previous events. Then at the Junction One Autotest, he secured another 1st in Class win, adding another trophy to the collection. 🏆

More recently Oliver competed at the ADC Nutts Corner Autotest where he won the ‘all forward event’ overall by 6 seconds. This means that Oliver now leads the Northern Ireland Junior Autotest Championship by 4 points.  Oliver is definitely establishing a reputation for himself in Autotest Competitions, and we sincerely wish him continued success.
