This marks Phase One of The Crossings, a pivotal part of the Adamstown Station masterplan, and a significant milestone as it represents the first new town centre constructed in Ireland since the 1960s. Adamstown itself is conveniently located just 15 kilometres west of Dublin city centre, right next to Adamstown station. In collaboration with Quintain Ireland, Henry J Lyons has successfully delivered this new town centre, The Crossings. The vision for this highly connected and dense area is to forge a vibrant social and commercial hub. It's designed with a thoughtful mix of uses, all centred around a network of beautifully landscaped streets and Adamstown Square, a new civic space. This initial phase also features The Railyard is a central commercial block located by the train station, set to further establish the area as a key destination.

With sustainability and functionality at the heart of this flagship scheme, APS ACW 50 curtain walling, 134 Therm+ casement window and commercial door systems offered the designer a wide and diverse range of profiles that provided not only great aesthetics but structural integrity, weather performance, thermal enhancement and security. APS systems, in conjunction with the correct glass specification, is designed to meet or exceed the latest thermal requirements of current building regulations. The high level of thermal performance has been achieved using the latest technology with bespoke thermal centre-seal gaskets, cellular foams and finned polyamide thermal isolators all contributing to the final performance figure.
