APS Sponsor Jonny Campbell Racing

.At APS there’s strong connection with local talent and we proudly sponsored Lisburn lad Jonny Campbell in the 2025 season in his bid to retain the Ulster Superbike Championship.

APS Grahame Malcomson caught up with Jonny at the Sunflower Race Bishopscourt at the end of the summer where Jonny finished on the podium again.  Also he has come away from the last round of the USBK championship in 2nd place.  Everyone at APS is delighted that you have had another successful season Jonny and we are pleased to have contributed a small part of that. We love seeing our company logo on your bike and love seeing little Nova guarding it too. Well done and look forward to what is coming next.

APS Celebrate International Men’s Day 2025

In November, APS proudly celebrated the men in our company as it is the month that traditionally focuses on men’s health. With more than three quarters of our workforce made up of men across Sales, Accounts, Design, Technical, Despatch, and Transport, it was a meaningful opportunity to recognise their contributions and well-being. We marked International Men’s Day on Wednesday, 19th, to show appreciation of the impact these men make in our company. To round off a month of fundraising led by a few of our male colleagues growing their moustaches, we hosted a lively coffee morning to support their efforts to raise donations for Brookfield School in our area that provides exceptional support for children with special needs.

APS Warehouse Raise Funds for Local School

In November 2025 some of our warehouse staff grew their moustaches to fund-raise cash for the amazing Brookfield Special Primary School, Moira. We dug deep everyone and the month ended with a great coffee morning.  We expected classic handlebars and refined walrus styles among others but it didn’t exactly get to that stage. Over £500 was raised and matched by the company totalling £1000. Well done to the warehouse team – what a great initiative to organise.

APS Director ‘Star in the Sty’ at PiGs

APS are proud sponsors of People in Glazing Society and enjoy taking part in their events throughout the UK. Recently PiGs showcased APS Director Chris duBoulay thanking him for his support.

In true PiGs fashion he is described a Star in the Sty

Chris’ favourite PiGs location is Manchester and the best thing about PiGs, in his opinion is the opportunity to meet up with new contacts and keep in contact with many great contacts and friends outside Ireland.

Chris feels that PiGs brings together many genuine and knowledgeable individuals from the glazing industry. At APS we are looking forward to the Belfast Event in April 2026.

APS Take Part in The Belfast Memory Walk 2025

The weather didn’t dampen the spirit at Belfast’s Memory Walk on 27th September in Ormeau Park in aid of Alzheimer’s Society. Team APS turned out reliable as ever. We had some craic on the 6k walk and a chance to chat about everything not work related for a change. A morning well spent as we remembered those who are living with the effects of Alzheimer’s and those we have known who are no longer with us. Many in APS have experience on a personal level. APS board matched the funds we raised and a cheque was presented to Alzheimer’s Society for £1200. Thanks to everyone who took part and donated.

APS Trusted Business Partner and Sales Director at Duraflex Retires

Last month saw the retirement of a longstanding and trusted business partner of APS, Duraflex Sales Director Ian Cowan pictured with APS Director Chris duBoulay. APS have benefitted from Ian’s wealth of pvc-u window industry knowledge and business background since our company was formed in 2001. We will sincerely miss Ian’s input into our company. We will miss his regular visits from Duraflex headquarters in Tewkesbury to our Lisburn Sales office. We wish Ian a brilliantly relaxing time from now on and thanks once again for many years of supporting APS.
