Swish 10 Year Colour Guarantee

Effective: 1st June 2007

SBP Limited (“SBP”) guarantees that Anthracite, Grey, Sahara Beige and Cream (RAL9001) PVC-ue profiles (“The Profiles”) supplied by SBP will retain their decorative function for a period of ten years , under natural weathering conditions, from the date of manufacture, provided they are installed and maintained in accordance with the procedures detailed in the Coloured PVC-ue Installation and Maintenance Guidelines (below) and Swish Design and Specification Guides for Roofline and Cladding, and subject to the specifier and installer fulfilling their responsibilities in relation to the installation.

The Profiles are also guaranteed to perform in accordance with DIN 53455 and BS2782.

• This Guarantee will only apply to defects appearing within ten years from the date of manufacture and where notification in writing of such defects is received by SBP within 28 days of the defect appearing.
• No further guarantees are offered on durability, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, stain resistance, resistance to scratching or performance under extremes of temperature, since these are application specific.
• The sole and exclusive remedy with regard to the above Guarantee is limited to the repair or supply of replacement profiles, at SBP’s discretion.
• Claims in respect of this guarantee will only be met when accompanied by proof of purchase and following inspection and approval by SBP Technical Services.
• SBP does not make any other representations or guarantees and in no event shall SBP be liable for any other loss or damage whether direct or indirect (including but not limited to the cost of installation).
• This Guarantee only applies to profiles manufactured after 1st June 2007.
• This Guarantee is limited to end use of the profiles in Middle and Northern Europe (latitude 45° to 60°) and elevations less than 1800 metres above sea level.
• This Guarantee does not cover any aspect of the installation of the profiles.

This Guarantee shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with English law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts only.

This Guarantee does not affect the statutory rights of consumers.
